Hey, don't get your hopes down because I too, believe in these fabulous creatures. My family thinks I'm crazy for believing but there has to be some type of explanation as to why everyone thinks they're real. And where did they even get the term mermaid? They had to have seen something! I still believe no matter what people say and do, I believe in them and when I get old enough, I'm going to go out and find one and show it to the world and they will see. But until then, just keep your head up and don't give up believing in them there is no proof that they're fake or real. So don't give up!
