I'm 19 and I wish to serve in the US armed forces in Iraq. I don't care what branch I go to, but I want to do something significant for my country. My only problem is that my left leg is slightly shorter than my right one, so they don't want me.

Do you know what's worse? I have been a member of Mensa since I was 11 with an IQ over 145!

Is there really nothing for me in the Armed Forces?

Damn, with an IQ of 145, this guy is not so bright!  What about the college route?  Go someplace like MIT, if he really has such a high IQ that shouldn't be a problem, graduate with a couple degrees and find something in the field of weapons designs, biological warfare, or some other military type field (private sector pays better than the military anyway, especially with those big fat military contracts.)   Go to Norwich (military college in VT) for a grad degree.  You will likely be approached by the Navy or possibly other branches if you are super smart and they have a great desk job for you...but it would be through civil service, not through joining.  You couldn't make it through boot camp with your condition.

Man...Have to wonder where all that common sense went too...seems to me it should be called uncommon sense nowadays.
