Is it normal to have sex with stuffed animals?

My son who is 17 has sex with an old stuffed animal Elmo doll. I find his behaviour rather disturbing as his Elmo is all crusty and missing an arm!

I'm not sure how to deal with this situation? Is it normal to have sex with stuffed animals? Should I worry?

Boys with raging hormones find fascination in sticking their little friend in all sorts of interesting places. Obviously your son has found a favorite. I think Dog is right, it's nothing to worry about, its a phase and it will pass...it is disturbing that you know so much about it though. Either you and your son are very open with each other or you are more in his life than you should be. He's 17 lady! Almost one more year and he'll be an adult! You can't possibly know everything about him forever he needs to live his own life, I think its time to start letting go.
