You know the song I Kissed A Girl? I did it too and I also liked it. I liked it a lot... She didn't even wear Cherry Chapstick and it was still amazing!

It was party game kiss but it was an eye-opener. I haven't had a real boyfriend but I have kissed a few. I have always been interested in boys. Now I'm confused!

Is it possible that I'm gay or bisexual?

ENOUGH SAID!

Well maybe she had kissed you better than the rest of the boys. I suggest having an actual relationship with a guy first, with lots of kissing and making out before passing judgment on this topic. Then ask yourself if you think you are gay or bi. Right now it sounds like you are just curious.

Good luck!

Unfortunately the world we live in has begun to allow a lot of things go on. Songs have a great influence on people (not just children) and people don't want to hear that. I was just telling my children this morning ( I was really trying not to let them hear the song "I kissed a girl and I liked"), because 1 - it has a catchy tune and I knew they would be somewhat hooked on singing it and, 2- because my children are young and we have just begun to talk on about sex and so forth. If you check it out, a lot of the music today talks about cheating on each other, bumping and grinding, meeting on the downlow (no one has to know)- should I go on? They try to blame just rap, but it's all music- bottom line when you keep listening to the same stuff over and over and over, it could eventually be apart of your self and you wind up doing things or saying things that you once would have never done or said (of course this depends on the person, every one is different). Anyway, to answer your question, it doesn't make you gay, but you are now starting to step on dangerous grounds. Make wise choices, don't "do you", but think about everything as a whole, how does this effect the next person, maybe your mom/dad. As I tell my children, you can't make adult decisions at 5, 8 and 10. Hope this helped and I hope you are surrounded by positive people, not ones that are just about "do you".

In principle I agree with Felicia (I have kids too and they all sing along when the song plays on the radio). My problem is the purpose of the song, which only one - to sell CDs without any regard to children. The song is clearly targeted at adolescent children and teens. The singer Katy Perry is to all mature people nothing more than a whore of the recording industry. Does she care about anything else but her bank account? What's next for her? Oral and anal sex tips for middle school children? She will make lots of money with that song but she is finished as a credible recording artist. She won't sleep well if she has a conscious. I'm not a bigot! However, why not respect yourself, women (gay and straight) and children before putting your name and voice to a song? Nothing wrong in being gay but faking it to sell for your record executives is shameful.

Kate Perry - if you Google yourself. You are a whore! A whore of the worst kind, as you exploited children to make money for yourself and your male bosses. I'm sure you made everyone lots, but you are still nothing but a cheap whore. Enjoy the rest of your life!  Kiss

Consider a male artist delivering the same kind of message. It's no longer "cute" is it?
